Reputation Matter
Your happiness is our goal — and keeping a stellar reputation is a top priority for us.
 
Freshness Promise:
We pick your fruit and ship it within 24 hours, always at the start of the week so it arrives quickly and safely. But life happens. If your fruit ever arrives in less-than-stellar shape, we’ll replace it or refund you. Just send a photo of the box and the bad fruit to alice@heritagevalleyfamilyorchard.com so we can make it right.
Skipping or Redirecting:
Traveling? No problem. Every member gets one free redirect per calendar year — meaning you can send your fruit as a gift to someone else. Just email alice@heritagevalleyfamilyorchard.com by 5pm the Friday before shipping. (More lead time is even better!)
Need to redirect more than once in a year? We may charge a $20 processing fee — because we’d rather spend our time growing great fruit than shuffling shipping labels.
 
Membership Flexibility
Subscriptions can be paused or canceled anytime before the next billing cycle. We love loyal members, but no one’s locked in forever.
 
Events & Attendance:
We farm in Ventura County, where SOAR regulations keep events small to preserve farmland. That means member events have limited spots and require accurate RSVPs. If you RSVP “yes” and ghost us, you’ll earn a (lighthearted but very real) demerit on your permanent record. Protect your reputation — let us know if your plans change!
 
Your Privacy:
We sell avocados — not your information. Your privacy matters to both of us! We will never share your details outside our organization, and even then, only to make sure your avocados arrive safely.
