Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices of bread (sourdough, whole grain, or your fave)
  • 1–2 tsp olive oil (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Lemon or lime juice, a squeeze
Instructions
  1. Toast the bread until golden and crispy.
  2. While it toasts, scoop out the avocado into a small bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth (or leave it chunky if that’s your style).
  3. Stir in a squeeze of lemon/lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread generously over warm toast. Drizzle with olive oil if you’re feeling fancy.
  5. Take a bite, smile, repeat.
