Avocado Toast

Avocado toast is a simple yet satisfying combo of creamy, seasoned avocado spread over crispy toasted bread

Ingredients
1 ripe avocado
2 slices of bread (sourdough, whole grain, or your fave)
1–2 tsp olive oil (optional)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Lemon or lime juice, a squeeze
Instructions
Toast the bread until golden and crispy.
While it toasts, scoop out the avocado into a small bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth (or leave it chunky if that’s your style).
Stir in a squeeze of lemon/lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Spread generously over warm toast. Drizzle with olive oil if you’re feeling fancy.
Take a bite, smile, repeat.
Variations to Try
Egg Lovers – Add a fried, poached, or scrambled egg on top. Bonus points for runny yolk.
Garden Fresh – Layer on sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, or radishes.
